What are Warbonds?

Warbonds are Helldivers 2’s version of a battle pass, with one player-friendly twist: they never expire. New Warbonds are added over time and old ones stay available forever, so there is no fear of missing out and no pressure to grind before a deadline. The free Warbond, Helldivers Mobilize, is available to every player from the start; premium Warbonds are unlocked with Super Credits and typically contain new weapons, armor sets, grenades, boosters, and cosmetics.

Spend medals and Super Credits with a plan

Warbonds are permanent, so the best first choice is the one that fills a real gap in your current loadout.

  1. Starting point

    Use the free track first

Build a dependable baseline from Helldivers Mobilize before chasing a single cosmetic goal.

  2. Medal spending

    Route through useful pages

Plan around boosters and gear that solve the squad’s actual mission needs.

  3. Premium choice

    Match the front and playstyle

Save Super Credits for a Warbond whose weapons or armor fill the role you want to play.

How do medals and pages work?

Gear inside a Warbond is purchased with medals, earned from completed missions, operations, Major Orders, and Personal Orders. Each Warbond is organized into pages, and you must spend a minimum number of medals on earlier pages before later pages open. That means you cannot beeline straight to the last page — plan which items you actually want and route your medal spending accordingly.

How do Super Credits work?

Super Credits (SC) are the premium currency, used to unlock premium Warbonds and buy rotating armor in the Superstore. Two things matter:

  • They are earnable in-game. Super Credits appear as loot at points of interest during missions, so active players steadily earn premium currency without paying.
  • Warbonds pay some back. Warbond pages include Super Credit payouts, partially refunding the cost of the next premium Warbond for dedicated players.

What should you prioritize early?

  1. Finish key picks in Helldivers Mobilize first. The free track contains workhorse weapons, armor, and boosters that carry new squads through every faction.
  2. Unlock boosters when you can. Boosters apply squad-wide passive bonuses and are among the highest-value medal purchases in any Warbond.
  3. Save Super Credits for a premium Warbond whose weapons match your playstyle rather than spending on Superstore rotations you will replace.
  4. Check the faction front. Before buying an armor set or weapon for looks, read the enemy faction guide and pick gear that solves the problems you actually face.

How does ship progression fit in?

Separate from Warbonds, samples collected during missions purchase ship modules — permanent, account-wide upgrades that improve stratagems, Eagle rearm times, and orbital support. Samples only bank if you extract, which is why the missions guide treats extraction as part of progression rather than an afterthought.
